Volunteer / Internship

Web Programmer / Developer

MEC seeks individuals (volunteers) to program and maintain project’s website. Web programmer/ developer will be working with web designer to maintain project’s website – turning website comps into HTML code for uploading. It is preferred that the programmer is proficient in CMS. MEC’s website will connect our local partners to the international community and provide information and research databases.

Positions are available starting immediately (minimum 10 hours a week). This is a virtual, work-from-home position.

Fundraising Coordinator

The Fundraising Coordinator (volunteer) will aid the Project Director and Research Associates in the design and implementation of fundraising plans for the Mongol Ecology Center project.

Candidates should possess the following skills:

• Grant writing skills
• Strong research skills
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with Sales Force, a definite plus

Duties:
• Research donor database
• Assist to build fundraising outreach programs
• Create new fundraising opportunities and methods
• Managing acknowledgments and reporting to donors•
• Additional assistance to the Project Director
